Moti Mahal takes its name seriously — every dish is meant to feel like it was cooked for family, not for a menu card. The kitchen starts from Bengal: mustard, gondhoraj lime, panch phoron, the slow kosha gravies and steamed bhapa fish that a Murshidabad household would recognise. From there it widens — a full tandoor for kebabs and breads, a continental section of pastas and sizzlers, and a pan-Asian wok line for the nights everyone wants noodles instead.
Most first-time guests start with the thali, veg or non-veg, from ₹149 — rice, dal, a vegetable or two, chutney, papad and something sweet to finish. Everything on the card is priced to order more than one dish and share.

The restaurant and bar sit on the top floor of Mahfil-e-Motijheel, air-conditioned throughout — eighty seats in the dining room, forty more in the bar, windows on the lawns and the water from both.
